Scratch confirmed to judge Beatbox Battle World Championship
Gold Dust is proud to announce that Scratch, from the Roots, will be
attending the Beatbox Battle World Championship in Berlin May, 29th - 31st.
He will be judging the following classes: Advancement Class, Female
Beatbox Battle and Team Beatbox Battle.
The Beatbox Battle World Championship are attending participants from

and watch Scratch showcasing his skills in a battle with Eclipse.

Zion I - The TakeOver Tour!
Zion I is taking their show on the road! The musical ambassadors from the Bay are going on a European tour starting this week. Zion I is one of the best groups around and their live show is extra entertaining from beginning to end. Featuring the lyrical stylings of MC Zumbi and the production genius of Amp Live, Zion I's new album, The TakeOver reflects a new, mature sound that combines hip hop, rock, soul, electronic music and a host of other influences. They will be performing new hits and old favorites during the TakeOver Tour. Check them out on MTVU performing, "Antennae"! DJ Muggs & Cypress Hill Among Honorees at This Year’s VH1 Hip-Hop Honors
Currently working on his newest project Pain Language with emcee Planet Asia, DJ Muggs and his hit-making group Cypress Hill will be among the artists whose contribution to hip-hop culture is being celebrated at this year’s VH1 Hip-Hop Honors.
Other honorees at this year’s ceremony include De La Soul, Too Short, and Naughty By Nature.
The event will be taped on October 2nd in New York City, and will begin airing October 6th on VH1.
DJ Muggs & Planet Asia’s Pain Language album will be out September 16th on Gold Dust.
